Moscrips in New Zealand, ex Roxbugh,Scot

I will post another message soon with more details.

I am one of about 20 odd Moscrips in New Zealand, decendants of William Samuel Moscrip, from village of Morebattle, near Roxbugh and Kelso in Scotland.

I will post more details, but have traced back to about 1767, using Parish records in Edingbugh, Scotland. Contact myself at themoscrips@actrix.co.nz if interested in more details.

A very unusual name in this part of the world, not many in New Zealand or Australia.

I am decended from Robert Samuel, Phillip Samuel, Samuel William (b Scotand 1856), Richard (b Scotland 1818), John (b Scotland 1783), Andrew (b Scotland 1767), James (b??)

bye for now........
