My husbands family is descended from the Moscrips of Morebattle. Richard Moscrip b 1818, Elizabeth Balmer Moscrip b abt 1850 married Joseph Allen Baker, Joseph Samuel Baker b 1881, Roberta SJ Baker b 1920 married Thomas Highton, John Highton b 1949. We live in NZ and many years ago Roberta had contact with Philip and Barton Moscrip. Have just been starting research into the Moscrip ancestors. See you have already done the searching- would love a copy.
