I am researching a person named only as W. A. V. Moscrop. This name appears on my grandmothers marriage certificate as a witness to her marriage to Henry Walter Williams in August 1920. There is a difference in my grandmother's birth name (Alice Maisey Dingwell) and the name she uses on her marriage certificate (Alice Masie Moscrop). We don't know when her named changed to Moscrop or if in fact she was adopted to a person named Moscrop. Her mother's name was (on her birth certificate) Alice Rose Dingwell (nee Edlin).
