There is no way that James Westly Mosby was the son of John Singleton Mosby of Edgemont.

1) John Mosby would have beeb 15 when he was born

2) John Mosby was never in Arkansas

3) John only had two sons who survived to adulthood
a) Beverly Clarke b. 1860
b) Jon Singleton Mosby, Jy b. 1863
