conflict in the Mosby ancestry of John S. Mosby (CSA)

I refer to the Virginian called "The Gray Ghost," and the "King of Fauquier." John Singleton Mosby's father was Alfred Daniel Mosby (1809-1879), his grandfather was John H. Mosby (1765 - 1839), and his great-grandparents were Daniel Mosby and Sarah Harris.
But I've seem a couple of different things for Daniel Mosby's parents. I've seen Hezekiah Mosby and Elizabeth Cox, but I've also seen Poindexter Mosby and Mary Woodson. I tend to think it's the latter, but on the Mosby museum website, they have Hezekiah and Elizabeth. Can someone clear this up? Thanks.
