IN THE NAME OF GOD AMEN I Nicholas Cox of the Parish of Southam and County of Cumberland being of Perfect Memory do make this my last Will and Testament in Manner and Form following Imprimis I give and bequeath unto my Grandson Stephen Mosby and his Heirs forever the Plantation Inow live on containing four hundred acres. Provided my said Grandson Stephen does when he comes of Lawful age convey unto his Brother Joseph Mosby all his Right and TitleTo Six hundred Acres of Land Whereon his Father Jacob Mosby now lives but if my said Grandson Stephen should refuse and should not make his Brother Joseph such Right and Title, then I give and bequeath the said four hundred Acres of Land unto my said Grandson Joseph Mosby and his Heirs forever.
Item, all the Residue of my Estate of what Nature or kind soever after my Just Debts Funeral Expenses and the following Legacies paid there out I give unto my two Daughters Susanna Mosby and Elizabeth Mosby To be equally divided between them And it is my Will that my said Estate shall not be appraised.
Item to my Grandson Joseph Mosby I give twenty five Pounds Current Money

Item I give to my Grandson Samuel Mosby twenty five Pounds current Money to be paid him when he attains the Age of Twenty One Years
Item I give to m y Grandson Robert Mosby Twenty five Pounds Current Money to be paid him when he arrives at the Age of Twenty One Years
Item I give to my Grandson George Mosby Twenty five Pounds Current Money To be paid him when he Attains the age of Twenty One Years.
Item I give unto my Grandson Charles Mosby Twenty five Pounds Current Money to be paid him when he attains the Age of Twenty One Years
Item I give unto my Grandaughter Agnes Mosby Daughter of Jacob Mosby Twenty five Pounds Current Money to be paid her when she attains the Age of Twenty One Years or Marries

And lastly I do Appoint my Sons in Laws Jacob Mosby and Hezekiah Mosby Executors of this my last Will and Testament hereby revoking all other Wills by me formerly made In Witnefs whereof I have hereunto set my hand and affixed my Seal this first Day of December One thousand seven hundred & fifty eight

At a Court held for Cumberland County February 26th 1759 This last Will and Testament of Nicholas Cox Deceaseād was Proved by the Witnefes thereto and Ordered to be Recorded And on the motion of Jacob Mosby and Hezekiah Mosby the Executor therein Named who made Oath according to Land Certificate is granted them for obtaining a Probat thereof in due Form giving Security Where upon they together with George Carrington and Littlebetty Mosby their Securities entered into and Acknowledged their Bond according to Land.
