Morton - Prewitt(Pruitt) connection

I am wondering if there is a Morton - Prewitt (Pruitt) connection...especially in 17th-18th century VA/NC. My DNA (I1d L22+ P109-) keeps having a bunch of the Morton family popping up at 37 markers (2 to 4 generations). I figured it cannot hurt to ask just in case someone might have a piece of information to make a connection

Best regards
