Glad to hear you made a connection with Sam, Joyce and maybe Kim. Together you all should be able to fill in a lot of gaps in the Morton lines. I would be very interested in the data you have, especially after you have a chance to combine and reconcile everything.
William T. Morton is first mentioned in association with my family in the 1853 and 1868 documents linked here. He bought land from my 3G grandfather William McGuire in Cedar Bluff, Tazewell, VA where he built a mill with Harvey Wesley McGuire, and later married Harvey's sister Analiza McGuire. The families stayed connected in MO and TX.
