Hello Folks,
I am new to the Morton Forum and looking at some posts from past years I have noticed some possible connections, certainly some very familiar names.
I have in the Wilson/Duff family a James Peden married to Jeannie or Jennie Dick or Diek. They had a daughter Margaret Peden who married Robert Duff on May 1 1876. Their son William Duff m. Barbara Richmond APr. 19 1895. these are my grandparents. Interestingly enough Barbara Richmond's grandmother is a Barbara Morton married to a Robert Reid probably around 1845. These folks are all located in Scotland in the area of Glasgow, Hamilton, Blantyre, Ayr etc..
