I looked at Charles Morton with Sarah Jane was his wife in the 1920 census and he is listed as Charles Thomas Morton. This makes him Charles Thomas the son of John Coleman Morton who married Elizabeth White. Charles Thomas Morton married Sarah Jane Wilson in Blount County, AL and she was the daughter of Cyrus Leroy Wilson born in 1846 in Mecklenburg, NC and his wife Mary Stamps, born in GA.

Charles Thomas Morton and Sarah Jane Wilson Morton had children named Porter, Pearlie E., Suzie and Pervie L.

John Coleman Morton was the son of Charles Allen Morton and his wife Melvina Samuels who married 13 January 1846.

I believe this is your line.

Lisa Mills
