I am looking for Robert Morton, who briefly lived in Cleveland, Ohio, between 1884 and 1890. In that time frame, he married Phoebe Shepard Clark, a widow with 5 children. Robert Morton was born about 1830 and died after he returned to Scotland, as early as 1896. Phoebe died in 1896. Robert and Phoebe had one living child, Ethel Margaret Isabella Morton.
I am searching Scottish death records. Following are some records for Robert Morton, none of whom appear to be my ancestor.
