I am seeking information on a Charles Morse age 10 who shows on the 1930 census in the household of James Edward Heath and James Davis ages 57 and 59 respectively. Family oral history said 'Jm Heath' never married but adopted a son named Charles. I believe this may be the 10 yr old showing on the 1930 census in their household in Ojai Twp, Santa Ynez Pct, Santa Barbara National Forest in Ventura County CA.
James Edward Heath was born 15 Sept 1874 Benton County MO and died 15 March 1959 in Bakersfield, CA. He was a son of Callaway Green Heath and Milly Ann Holloway who had moved from Tom Twp, Benton Co MO to the Cuyama Valley around Santa Maria area of CA. I have lots of information on the Heath family and would like to share and exchange info with Charles Morse or his descendants. All information appreciated!
