Glenda we corresponded when you first started researching Diana. I have a few bits of information. I have that William Wofford Morse died 16 Oct 1856 and Elizabth died 10 August 1855 both in Alabama. I don't think their son Baily Barton Morse went to OK. I think it might be his child whose mother was Lucrecia Fortner Morse. In the 1880 census for Blount co., Alabama she list her self as 40 and a widown.I have never been able to find Baily Barton Morse in a census record except the 1850 when he was married to Louise Tolbert. Lucrecia is list in the 1900 Wayne co., Tennessee census record living with her youngest child Dicey who was married to a Horton. She says she is a widow. She was in her sixties. In Census records you will see a Henry Morse always living next door or close them. This is one of the children born from the first marriage of Bailey Barton Morse. The other child of the same marriage was Wm. W. Morse probably named for his grandfather.
I am constantly in search of new information on the Morse family but they are very illusive. Another thing you might try is the name Moss. I have found them listed both ways.I think they were constantly on the move and may have missed the census record or he died before the 1880 census. Here is some areas that they lived in Blount co., Alabama,Wayne Co. Tennessee, Pontotoc, Mississippi. If I find any additional information I will contact you
