I am working on the family history of William Morrow and his wife, Mariah T Potter.
William was born 1776 in either New York or New Jersey and married Mariah T Potter abt 1820 in New York. William and Mariah Morrow had the following known children:

Theodore Jackson b. 1832 OH d. 1904-1910 Los Angeles Co. CA
Benton Thomas b. 31 May 1835 OH d. 23 May 1912 Cass Co. IA m. Hannah E Disbrow 1872 Cass Co. IA
George Clinton b. 31 May 1835 OH d. 1921-1930 Los Angeles Co. CA m. Sarah Jane Hutchins 1869 Warren Co. IA
Louisa Maria b. 1837 OH d. aft 1910 Los Angeles Co. CA m. William A Hunter 1859 Richland Co. OH.
I would like to locate the parents and siblings of William Morrow and his wife, Mariah T Potter.
According to "History of Orange County, California" by Samuel Armor pub. 1921, William came from Ireland. However, William stated in the 1850 Census, he was born in New York. His children stated both New York and New Jersey as the birth place of their father.
William's wife, Mariah T Potter died in San Bernardino County, CA around 1871.
This is a project for a very special family friend and any help you can give is greatly appreciated.
