I am looking for information with regards to other family members who are related to a James Morrisey (Morrissey) born Co. Kilkenny 1818, he was a shoe/boot maker and moved with his wife Teresa and son James to Liverpool England during the Potato Famine. This branch of the family have remained in England - Manchester and Liverpool since. We have tried to find out who his Father and Mother were but have struggled, we think James may have had siblings called Michael and Mary, we think Michael also moved over to Liverpool at the same time and was also a Boot/shoe maker. We would like to find out what parish in Kilkenny the family are from and to try and gain any other information. Hoping there is someone out there who can help. Thanks Annie Morrisey
