Diane, the sponsors on my grandfather's (Napoleon Emard)certificate of baptism are Olivine and Octave Morisette. I've always assumed that they were his grandparents. His parents were Pierre and Melina(Morissette)Emard. They had six sons before Melina died in 1904 at the age of 30. I had read somewhere that Olivine's maiden name was Gervais (could be the Church of the Latter Day Saints records). According to several sources, including yourself, she was a Rochefort. I really don't know and haven't had time to pursue any of this. I did post to this forum quite some time ago, looking for information. Hope this helps you. Lynne
