Greenbriar Co., Va/WV branch to OH/KY

My husband's line descends from Julia Ann Morrison (May 31, 1848--Aug. 12, 1909) who married Leven Shreves Tufts on Dec. 19, 1865. Julia Ann was one of the many children of William Harrison Morrison and Susan Songer. I'll post the following census info on William and Susan, in case it may help someone else figure out who Wm. H. Morrison's parents may be:

1830 GREENUP CO., KY census: no Morrisons or Songers

1840 GREENUP CO., KY census:
William Morrison 20001 / 1001 (notice 3 children born before the census. The next census seems to indicate that their daughter, Catherine was probably born prior to their marriage in March of 1837 in OHIO)

1850 GREENUP CO., KY census:
Wm. H. Morrison - 35 Va. wagon maker
Susan - 29 Va.
Catherine - 14 Oh.
John - 12 (all other kids born Ky)
William - 10
Sarah J. - 7
George - 5
Christopher - 3
Julia A. - 2 (my link)
Simon - 9/12 (actually Samuel)

The following Songer family is the only one in Greenup:
Nancy Songer - 42 NC
Jackson - 19 Va.
Shelton - 14 Ky
Gemima - 11 Oh.
Mary J. - 8 Oh.

1860 GREENUP CO., KY:
W. H. Morrison - 47 Oh.
Susan - 41 Va.
Wm. - 19 (all kids born Ky.)
S. J. - 19
G. W. - 16
Christopher - 13
Julia A. - 11
Samuel - 10
James - 8
C. A. - 7
Minor? - 6
R. - 4
E. - 3
Leo S. - 3/12

1870 GREENUP CO., KY:
Wm. Harrison Morrison - 55 WV wagon maker
Susan - 50 WV
Samuel - 19 (all others born Ky.)
James - 17
Cynthia A. - 15
Robert - 13
Elizabeth - 12
Leven - 10
Nancy J. - 8
Irvin - 7
Christopher - 22
America - 17 ILL.

1880 CARTER CO., KY:
Susan Morrison - 53 V V V
L. S. - 18 Ky V V
Ervin - 14 Ky V V
George W. - 34 Ky V V
Cynthia - 12 Ky Ky Ky (grdau)
Lucy Savage - 9 Ky Ky Ky (grdau)
George Savage - 6 Ky Ky Ky (grson)

1900 GREENUP CO., KY:
Susan Morrison is living with the family of Alex Kimble and wife Alice (July 1876) Susan is listed as MIL Nov. 1820 - age 79 widow, 12 children out of 15 living, born Va Va Va

Notice that William and Susan Morrison's oldest daughter, Catherine, was born in Ohio around 1836/7. This seems to indicate that one or both of them were living in Ohio (Lawrence Co. being right across the ferry at that time from Greenup Co., KY) when Catherine was born. The Nancy Songer family from Greenup Co. in 1850 had a few kids born in Ohio about the same timeframe. The Songers were in Lawrence Co., Ohio for the 1840 census including who I believe to be America (Songer) Morrison's father, Samuel Songer, Susan's father, Christian Songer and her possible brothers, Hickman, James, and William Songer.

Due to this evidence, I believe that one of the tickmarks below belong to William Harrison Morrison from the 1820 or 1830 census...but which one could be his father?

1820 LAWRENCE CO., OH CENSUS (categories are males < 10, 10-16, 16-18, 18-26, 26-45, > 45 / females < 10, 10-16, 16-26, 26-45, > 45):

John Morrison 020120 / 11210
Nathaniel Morrison 300010 / 10010
Samuel Morrison 212310 / 20110
William Morrison 210110 / 10110

1830 LAWRENCE CO., OH. CENSUS (categories are < 5, 5-10, 10-15, 15-20, 20-30, 30-40, 40-50 for both male and female)
John Morrison 21001 / 000001
Ritcherd Morrison 002001 / 211001
Wm. Morrison 00001 / 10001

Which as you can see all of the guys from the 1820 census are gone, but these 3 boys stay around through the 1850 census at least...all were born in Va., Wm. in 1805, John in 1801 (listed as a wagon maker) and Richard in 1796, according to their 1850 census. I am guessing that John could be Wm. Harrison Morrison's brother and all of these (including our Wm.) came from the Morrisons in the above 1820 census. If the date for Wm's birth is 1814, then it would have to be Nathaniel, Samuel, or William above???

1840 LAWRENCE CO., OH. CENSUS:
Charles Morrison 0111001 / 110001
John Morrison 0121001 / 0000001
Richard Morrison 0000201 / 0121001

Another interesting tidbit on the John Morrison b. 1801 and is a wagon maker from Lawrence Co., OH, is this John's son in the 1850 census:
Samuel Morrison - 25 Oh
Julia A. - 24 Ky
Sarah E. - 1
(now notice the youngest 2 kids listed in Wm. H. Morrison's household in the 1850 census...hmm?)

The above Richard Morrison b. 1796 had 2 sons that had bios in the Lawrence Co. Hardesty book from 1882. One's name was Andrew and the other was Lorenzo. Andrew's bio states that he first came to the county from Greenbriar Co., Va. and he was born July 29, 1820 to Richard and Mary (Bridle) Morrison. Lorenzo's bio states that Richard was born June 1, 1796 in Greenbriar Co, WV and was married there March 14, 1814 and Richard died in Lawrence Co. in 1871 (actual death record states Mar. 30, 1872). The year of their settlement in the county is 1821/3. Lorenzo was born in West Va. on Jan. 19, 1819. The article also gives his mother, Mary's birth and death date. Lorenzo was married in Greenup Co. KY in 1850.

My biggest questions are where did the birthdate for Wm. Harrison Morrison come from? Does anyone have an actual deathdate for William Harrison Morrison? Does anyone have a copy of Susan (Songer) Morrison's death certificate from Boyd Co., KY. I am also interested if anyone has looked for an obituary for her as well?
