Will, I was reading the Morris messages and hope you can help me too. My great grandmother was Beulah Morris (born 12/12/1882). Her father was William Lewis (or just Lewis) Morris (b. 1846 in NY, died 1919). Beulah said that she was descended from the First Gov. of NJ as well as a signer of the Dec of Independence. William Lewis Morris was a commissioner in Perth Amboy, NJ. His first wife was Alice Swan. His second wife (Beulah's mom) was Catherine Baker (1843-1920.) Does this information fit in your Morris history anywhere??? Thanks for your help. I've been doing a lot of internet searching and can't get any farther on this part of my family. Thanks. Kathi
