I have limited information on Chester Morrill (b. Aug. 22, 1885, d. aft. 1952) based on his work in the US Dept. of Agriculture from about 1914 thru 1925. Looking for any additional information and particularly a photo to include in USDA historical materials for the Packers and Stockyards Program. Chester was the first agency head of Packers and Stockyards at USDA when it was formed in 1921. After 1925, Chester went on to be the Secretary of the Federal Reserve Board for many years. Chester's father was Flavius J. Morrill (d. 1948) and mother was Hannah Johnston Morrill. Chester had one sister who died at age 4 (name unknown). Chester married in 1909 at age 24 (wife's name unknown).
Chester had a son, Chester Morrill, Jr. (b. Aug. 3, 1915) who earned degrees from American University. Chester Jr. married Georgeanna Hild and had a son, Paul Hild Morrill.
