I am administrator for the Morrill/Morrell DNA project. Through it we have established the similarities and differences among several branches of our family. Our most recent finding just last month is that Jacob Sawyer Morrill (1802-1865) is a descendent of the John Morrell of Kittery line. If you have hit a "brick wall" and would like to compare your Y-DNA signature to others of this surname, please contact me directly.

I can pass along a $30 discount on the 25 marker test through the end of this month (December 2005) from the testing company (Family Tree DNA).

If you know you are a descendent of Thomas Morrell of Long Island, I might be able to get your whole test paid for (no time limit). This DNA signature is not yet established.
