You might want to consider posting your
message on the genforum region Israel.
Ben Chetrit (Benshitrit) and Mizrahi are
very common in Israel. Many families have
moved from Marocco to Israel after the second
world war and even before.
If by chance your
grand parents worked for the French authorities in Marocco, some records might be
found in France (e.g. for retirments purposes, etc...). THere were also many
families that moved to France. So you want to
try France too maybe.
Benchetrit means 'son of chetrit' while
Mizrahi means 'oriental' (from the East,
from where the sun rises).
Also if you have more accurate dates, if you
can estimate when you grand-parents roughly
were born it might help too.
