I have been on since feb 2010. i knew my dad's mom had a someone helped me find her birth certificate. his name is on it. but her dad and mom didnt marry. Gramma Nellie was the sweetest old lady. my maternal gramma was a grouch, she's the one related to the van kirks and figures
i have a couple trees on ancestry "Barton and Families Maternal Side" "Barton And Families Paternal Side" I'm in process of trying to straighten them up. My name is Melanie Kay but I go by Kay.I am 57 yrs old.
I just recently went to Philo Ohio and visited a 2nd cousin of mine(Mom's 1st cousin) that i never knew existed and theres still one i never met in Zanesville Ohio!the are in their 80's
I have talked to my dad's 2nd cousin. he is 83 i think in Lima Ohio. He was a superintendent of schools. Very nice to talk with him, he has old pics of 2 men, might be my grandfatherand his brother OR my grt grt grandfather!. I dont have many pics but trying to get some copies off of family members,who are slow in reponse.
