Hi Saida,
With your surname and the brief background I'm curious to know if your family descended from indigenous Moroccans that were there before the Spanish, French, English arrived. I ask because I'm I have an ancestor with the surname LEHRI who was from Morocco that I'm trying to find information about. I'm thinking that LEHRI and NEMRI may have the same linguistic roots and my have originated from the same ethnic group.
I've had a difficult time finding out where the LEHRI surname originated because it's found across the Middle East, North Africa and even in India. The surname actually seems more common in the Middle East than in North Africa.
