I researching an ancestor with the Genoveva Lehri who was from Morocco and was born at the turn of the 20th century. She was of mixed ethnic heritage, most likely Arab/Berber and sub-Saharan African, at the least. She was traded into slavery and later freed in Central Africa where she settle and died.
I don't know if she was stolen from her family or forced into slavery by them. I also don't know how long she had been a slave before she arrived in Central Africa.

I hoping to finding information about her family - her parents, siblings and their descendants. I also would like to know more about this surname, the meaning of and from which dialect, region, tribe, or ethnic group it originated from.
