On saturday i visited for the first time a church of the latter day saints family history centre in Aberdeen. I must say that the staff where very helpful and kind enough to help as well, i could have spent hours in there but was short on time. One of the ladies in the place mentioned that the spirit of elijha (hope thats right) was with you when you search for your past, can someone tell me what that means. And also i forgot to ask the lady whilst in there, she looked at a record for a John Hinksman born June 1816 in Dysart fife Scotland, and told me that the record was submitted by a church member doing personnel research in 1977, i was wondering if they would be a way of contacting this person as i really would like to know if in fact they where researching the person i was researching.
Can anyone answer these questions thank you.
