Marriage in France

Does anyone know if I might be able to find a 1919 marriage in France through a Family History Center? Have been told that there are privacy law issues with marriages less than 100 years old. Does this mean there is no chance that the LDS Church would have been able to copy those records?

The bride was a French "war bride". I have her first name (3 of them, in fact) and when and where they married but don't have her last name. Might there be some other records available that would tell me the name of the French bride of an American soldier?

Thanks
