Joseph M. Morley Sr. - Now Where Do We Go?

Howdy To All The Morleys and their kinfolk. One of the Morley lines seems to dead end with Joseph M. Morley Sr. who married "Ann" and the time period seems to be the middle of 1700's in Pennsylvania. Many of us have found been lucky enough to benefit from the work of others like Carol Mitchell but where do we go from here? Many of us are assuming an English connection but I have not seen any confirmed connection. A couple of postings have indicated Joseph M. Morley's parents were William & Mary of Nottingham(shire), England, but I have seen no explanation of how this was obtained and my email has not been answered. I am a novice but with your help I have amassed over 700 names (both my parents and my wife's parents lines included. I would like to continue to find the connection and I'm hoping some of you might have suggestions or even more information than I have found on line. Any help or comments are appreciated. Thanks.
