There are all sorts of reason people change the spelling of their last names. Wanted by the law, at war with the family, illiterate, or maybe, as they came to America the guy charting them in miss-spelled it.

I read where various version's of the name Morley might be Marley, Morely, Worley, Marlan, and the list goes on and on.
