Rosemary, Thank you for your message. Though I am in the process of double checking, I think I have found my Henry as follows: Henry Morley b. 1856 Sussex, has brother William b. 1860, St. Leonards, Sussex. Their father, Henry Morley, b. 1835 Hastings m. Mary Ann Homard, b. 1832, Icklesham. His father, Henry Morley b. 180-1811, probably Sussex, m. Charlotte b. 1802-1806 Sussex. This Henry died before 1851. Mary Ann Homard's parents were James Homard, b. 1801 Icklesham, and Winefred Selden, b. 1813 or so, Icklesham. They married 8.1.1832 in Icklesham. James Homard's parents were James Homard, b. 12.15.1769 Crawley, Sussex, d. 11/18/1853 Icklesham, and Charlotte Foster, b. 5.2.1779 Winchelsea, d. 3/1861 Rye. I found this information via ancestry.com using census records and family records. The 1901 census gave me what I needed to start working backwards, which was not available to the public when I was researching in England years ago! These may not connect with you at all, but someday we may find a link, so I thought I would send it on! Best wishes, Jenny Notify Administrator about this message?
