I am the 62 y o son of John and Mary Ellen of Lincoln and Beatrice, NE, paternal grandson of Richard Daniel and Jear Richards of Lincoln. Richard, Papa Dick, and family arrived in Blue Hill or was it Red Cloud, NE when he was about 13. He became the High School principal at about 18, later to teach at the U of NE and served as interim chancelor in the 50s I believe. I don't know about Mary, but wager we're all connected by our Nebraska roots-nice, huh.
