I am trying to find out more about the Moring family and I believe that my ancestor was Henry Moring of Surry County, VA and that he had a son named John Moring who married Elizabeth Smith on September 20, 1797 in Surry County, VA. John Moring died in Chatham County, North Carolina in 1844. Are these the same as the Henry and John that you are researching?
