Thank you for your reply. The Morring Cemetery - I just copied off Rootsweb probably. This is my friend's ancestors. She is a descendant of Eleanor "Ellen" J. Morring b 9 Jun 1832 in Jackson,Alabama.

Glad to see you have a birth date of 8 Aug 1799.

Do you think any of these Gwaltney's go back to Thomas Gwaltney? I'm thinking off the top of my head here. Thomas Gwaltney born in Surry,VA

Thomas Gwaltney was born in Surry,VA died 07 Dec 1782 Craven,NC. I'm thinking there are bible records in Old Dobbs Co,NC. I'm still thinking off the top of my head again here.

I would appreciate any of your notes when you have the time. Anything would help.

Do you have any idea who George Webb Morring's parents might have been? Probably his mother was a Webb.
