Elaine:

In answer to your question, there should be a Fortuna J. or Fortune J. He married Marie Beauregard.

Emeranda, as I have his name, later called himself Eddie. He married Irene Durand.

Eva Morin married David Butler, but later married a Gagnon, eventually living in Willimansett.

Rose Alma married Arthur Joseph Mitchell (family name in Canada originally Dumouchel). They are my grandparents. I have all the dates for their three children if you want them.

I have a million questions:
1. Where did you get the Holyoke Census?
2. How do you know that Francois' parents are Francois and Henriette Charland?
3. This is very important to me because I have their mass cards, but couldn't find the younger Francois in the list of their children on the Canadian genealogy website. If I can verify that Francois is the son of the elder Francois, I can follow that line back to France in the 1600's! Here's the link:

4. Do you know about Francois' sister, later married as Marie Lacroix in Berlin, NH?
5. How are you related to the Morins?
6. If we have a substantial amount of information to share, would it be easier to talk on the phone? I'd be happy to call you on my cell, or give you my number.

And finally, a big thank you!

Lori
