DEED. 6 July 1711, John Morgan of Welsh Tract Hun. in Co. of New Castle, yeoman and Evan Morgan of same place, yeoman, for the sum of 50 pounds, sold unto Thomas Morgan of same place, blacksmith, a parcel of land containing 125 acres, situate on the south side of Dragon Swamp. It bounds the house late of Joseph Hanson and land of John Darby. Signed John Morgan (mark), Evan Morgan, Wit: Morgan Hurbert, William Kemp. Rec 25 Oct, 1737. (L1-183)

383 Deed. 6 Aug 1740. Thomas of Burr. & Co. of Chester in Prov. of Penn., merchant, and Elizabeth his wife, for the sum of 10 pounds sold unto Hance Rudoph of Newport Ayre in Christana Hun. in Co. of New Castle waterman, a lottof land containing 40 perches, situate in Newport Ayre. This is land that sd Morgan was seized of from John Justis and Christiana his wife and Augustine Constantine, by their indenture, dated 16 Aug 1737, (Book L/pp169) Signed: Thos Morgan, Elizabeth Morgan. I am not going to write all of the Morgan deeds from New Castle but it is fair to say you must be descendants of Rev. Enoch Morgan Allt-goch, in the Co. of Caerdigan Wales 1676 and died 25 March 1740, John Morgan, Evan Morgan , Morgan Morgan, many descendants of this group can be found later in Pasquotank and were Quakers and served in the Rev war..
