Hello thank you for answering I think now that his father is a James 1707 married Elizabeth Selah Melton. I have no proof I have seen various posts. I'm hoping to maybe get someone to do a dna. Do you think it is James too. There are quite a few Calverts/ Colberts there in White County. Rachel Calvert married Edmund Morgan son of henry and Susannah Poe about 1815 or so and Edmund was scalpted by indian's and died she went on to marry a Dickerson/ Dickson. One daughter she had with Edmund named Mary Polly.
I wondered if he was Morgan Morgan's son I read some where on a Will Morgan Morgan signed and I wondered how he was related to the Calverts
