In the Lexington, VA, Presbyterian church records, Willoughby shows up as having died in Prairie du Chein and son of Daniel Morgan. I cannot find the earlier Rockbridge Co. reference to him but it was recorded before Morgan died and I think around RW time. I have seen the record from the man claiming kinship and listing Daniel as born in Ireland. There is nothing that connects him (except this guy's wish for fame and money) to Daniel. The old man remains elusive! There is that book by Nancy Schaefer on Abigail, which she researched in Clarke & Fred. Cos., but the only copy locally is in Wincehster. I do not know how much she documented it. I am also VERY interested in the marriage contract copy at Handley, is it a copy of the original paper or a transcription. Higginbotham couldn't care less and has no files on his book--North Callahan is dead and his collection seems to have no reference material and hadn't been cataloged when I spoke with the archivist in 2009. Any help on our home boy appreciated. Mary Morris, CCHA archivist
