Joy, thank you for this lead. I have just about tried every C C combination I could think of. This has been so hard because my father,Belmont Rogers, (Joseph's son) thought his father died early 1900's only to have Joseph find him through the Navy in 1942. They corresponded during WWII but were never to meet again. The only information I have was from Joseph's letters to my dad who had taken the name of his mother's (she died 1916) 2nd husband. Joseph did mention living with an elderly grandmother in Texas. Again, Thank you for your information.
