From Hazleton Standard-Sentinel of Tuesday, March 18, 1930
Thomas Morgan, aged 66 of Tomhicken, a dockage boss for the Jeddo-Highland Coal Company died at 7:15 Sunday night from heart trouble following a brief illness. He lived at Tomhicken the past eight years and previous to that time was a resident of Gowen where he served in the capacity of mine foreman for the Coxe Bros. & Co. for years. Surviving him are his wife and the following childen: Isaac and Edgar, of Fern Glen; Thomas, Jr., of Tomhicken; also the following brothers and sisters: Richard, Albert and John, and Mrs. Frank Carber and Mrs. Anna Sheridan, all of Plymouth; and Mrs. Alice Wisler, of Wisconsin. The funeral will be held Thursday at 2 pm with services at the house and interment in the Nuremberg cemetery.
