I posted the message this is in response to as a "theory" in hopes of connecting John Morgan 1732-1786 to Simon Morgan and Elizabeth Ridley. Like all good theories, they need to be tested and proven or disproven. Thanks to Bonnie Morgan and her family's information I think I can safely say that John Morgan born 1732 Cumberland Co., VA and died in Granville, NC abt 1786, was not the son of Samuel Morgan, son of Simon Morgan and Elizabeth Ridley. Thanks Bonnie for your help.
