Sir Henry Morgan
Thought to have been born in Llanrumney, then a village between Cardiff and Newport, little is known of his early life.

---------------
I have Morgans from Anglesey...William Edward Morgan of Amlwch, Anglesey, a ships' chandler. Wife was Mary Parry, whose father was John Parry of Aberdaron Caernarvonshire, b. in 1726 and mother was ANNE THOMAS (1733-1812)--they moved to Llanpatrick/Llanbadrig, Anglesey after their marriage at her father's home at Rhosgyll Fawr, Eifionydd, Caer.around 1770.

I don't think my Morgans are connected to Sir Henry Morgan, the pirate.
