Does anyone know the parentage of Elizabeth McKinney Morgan, born in Tennesee abt.1818-20. In 1837 she married Vincent B. Morgan in Grant Co. Wisconsin. They had five children by 1850 US Census. Sarah C.(1839) William E.(1840) Malinda Jane[my line](1842-3), Alexander(1845)& George W.(1850), all in Wisc. Many postings give her father as John McKinney, born in SC. But in the 1880 Census, while living with her son Alexander, she states both her parents birthplaces as Pennsylvania! Also none of her sons are named John, even as a middle name which I find strange for that era. Her last known address was Richwood, Richland Co.,Wisc. Can anyone verify Elizabeth's parentage. Also when, how ,where she died and is buried? Any help will be appreciated and I have Malinda's descending lineage to share. Thank you.
