I am also looking for additional information on V B Morgan. I believe that the 1850 census would be correct for Vincent's birthplace as South Carolina because he was still head of household. His daughter Sarah Morgan Faith Thomas b. 1837/8 lists his birthplace as Alabama on the 1880 census of Boscobel Grant Co WI. She has her daughter Ada and to boarders living there. Alex Morgan m. Melissa Hillberry and is buried in the Greenwood Cemetery in Port Andrew WI. I am also looking for the death date and place for Elizabeth Mckinney Morgan. In 1880 she is living with Alex and Melissa in Richwood, Richland WI. Elizabeth's grandson Elmer (John Elmer Thomas)lives there also.(son of Sarah and John G Thomas). Alex gives his father's birthplace as George. My husband is the grandson of John Elmer Thomas.
