Susan, I had a John Morgan in my history, but if they were in Kentucky it was only for a short time. However, the telling of the story is familier, and it has happened somewhere in almost every line I have, sorta makes me feel not so alone, if you know what I mean. So much was handled on a one to one basic, and they were a law unto themselves, in many instances. The John Morgan I know of in Tn. was marr. to a Elizabeth, and when he died, I do not know how, she was appointed as as administrater, overseen by a Wm. Morgan ( Their are a ton of those.) No children mentioned in any way, so it is impossible to know what line it was. This was court records in about `1809, if my memory serves me right. Good luck with your search. Betty H.
