Larissa,
I am a little confused about your reference to the final action at Gettysburg "a fanatical, suicidal charge". The final action at Gettysburg was Picketts charge (Infantry, not cavalry) and Lee's retreat back across the Potomac into VA. As a former Civil War reenactor and participant in the movie "Gettysburg", I am curious as to where you got your info and when and where this charge took place.
