Jeremiah Morgan was born on May 11, 1796, and died on May 18, 1879 in Grant County, KY. He served in the War of 1812. On January 9, 1816, in Pendleton County, KY, Jeremiah married Elizabeth New Rice dau. of Jacob New and Mary Coon. Children: 1) William Henry, b. Nov. 13, 1816, 2) James M., b. Sep. 1, 1818, 3) Moses Montgomery, b. Sep. 19, 1819, 4) Jacob N., b. ca. 1824, KY, and 5) Pleasant, b. Jan. 23, 1829. Elizabeth was the widow of Daniel Rice and the mother of Sarah Ann Rice. I would like to correspond with anyone interestd in this family.
