I am interested in whether any of the Morgan Morgan's or Thomas Morgan's from James Morgan's branch settled in Lancaster County, PA.There were two Thomas Morgan's who settled there -- Thomas, the founder of Morgantown, PA who died in or before 1741 and my wife's line, Thomas who died prior to 2/5/1732 leaving his widow Gwen (sometimes copied as "Given"), plus 7 children (Morgan, Ann, Michael, Rees, Joan/Joanna, Elizabeth & William)This Morgan Morgan was a vestryman at St. James Episcopal Church in Lancaster and left a son named Nathaniel who migrated to what became Wythe Co, VA.
Even if yours is not the same branch I would like to know more about them during the period 1680-1750 in order to help sort out some of the Morgan's who crossed paths in PA/MD/VA during that period.
