Hi Nicky
Being relatively new to this site, and having only just accessed your various discussions re the Moretons, does any of the following match up with your records?
My 3rd great grandfather was William Moreton who married Mary Thompson on 16th October 1794 in Nuneaton.
Joseph, my 2nd ggfather was born c1810 and married Catherine (Cresswell?) in 1835 in Tipton, Staffs.
Joseph, my great grandfather, was born 22nd March 1849 in Chapel End and married Eliza Finney on 30th December 1867 in Hartshill.
They then settled in Ibstock. Leics. which is the birthplace of all my many! Moreton uncle, aunts and cousins.
