Michael Moreno
Rock Island, Ill. - Funeral services will be held Friday morning in Rock Island for Michael T. Moreno, a former Steubenville resident who died Wednesday in the Rock Island Veteran's Hospital after a lengthy illness.
Survivors include his father, Michael Merino of Salem, Ohio; three daughters, Mrs. Sam (Michele) Speaker, Miss Antoinette Moreno and Miss Debra Moreno, all of Rock Island; a son, Lonnie Moreno of rock Island; four sisters, Mrs. Jean Thomas and Mrs. Emily Zellers, both of Steubenville, Mrs. Homer (Minnie) Johnson of LasVegas and Mrs. Otis (Rose) Brown of Bakersfield, Calif., and two brothers, Albert J. Merino of Salem, Ohio and Frederick G. Merino of Steubenville.
Mr. Moreno was an Air Force veteran of World War II.
