Pearl L. Morelock McCamy, 89, passed away Saturday,
October 3, 2009, at Wexford House, Kingsport, Sullivan
Co TN.
Pearl was born January 28, 1920, in Hawkins Co TN, to
Reverend Wright and Sarah Lou Morelock.
She was retired from Parks-Belk and was a charter member
of Orebank Freewill Baptist Church and founding member of
Orebank Freewill Baptist Quartet. She will always be
remembered as a loving and devoted wife and mother.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by
her husband, Ralph H. McCamy; grandson, Jon Alan McCamy;
sisters, Carra Luster, Carrie Jackson, and Mary Kate
Jackson; and brother, Jake Morelock.
Surviving are her son, Fred McCamy and wife Phyllis,
Kingsport, TN, Debbie Doyle and husband Steve, Topeka, KS;
five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and numerous
nieces and a nephew.
Visitation will be 6 p.m. - 8 p.m., Tuesday, October 6,
2009, at East Lawn Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be conducted in the chapel at 8 p.m.,
with David White officiating.
Graveside services will be conducted, Wednesday, October 7,
2009, at 11 a.m., in East Lawn Memorial Park, family and
friends are asked to assemble at the funeral home by 10:45
a.m. Pallbearers will be Brian Doyle, Scot Davis, Chris
Broadhead, Danny Tunnell, Larry Roberts, and Bobby Jackson.
Honorary pallbearers, Garrett Davis, Spencer Davis, Harrison
Rogers, Joe Gragg, and Larry Ryans.
