Hi Mike,
Thanks information.Some new to me and some old but all of interest.Interested with reference to Queen Elizabeth probably applied as she had flaming reddish brown hair ( I heard it applied to brownish horses) so that does tie up....here way back some of them used De Maurel probably as they were French Huguenots...the ones here in Ireland were generally Huguenot Calvinist settlers...but believe it or not we have a few Italian Morelli's needless to say selling ice cream.....ah those Italians!.Take care thanks again = Michael
